Our Mission The mission of the members of Freedom Valley and A.B.A.T.E. of Illinois is to preserve the universal right to a safe, unrestricted motorcycling environment, and to propose and advocate actions that can be taken by elected and appointed officials to protect and conserve the natural resources of the State of Illinois, and ensure through professional management that sustainable use, recreational opportunities and enjoyment of these new resources is available for this and future generations.
Chapter Profile
A.B.A.T.E. of Illinois is a not for profit, educational organization consisting of 61 chapters. Freedom Valley Chapter services Tazewell, Woodford and Peoria Counties; however, membership is not restricted to these Counties residents.
The Chapter has two primary purposes:
* To support the purpose and goals of A.B.A.T.E. of Illinois.
* To educate its members and the public about motorcycle safety.
The Chapter supports motorcyclists rights through:
* State Political Action Committees
* Federal Political Action Committees
The most important way the members of each chapter support A.B.A.T.E. is by becoming educated about motorcycling issues and casting their vote in every election for legislators who support our mission.
Freedom Valley Chapter proudly supports local communities with food and toy drives.
We publish a monthly newsletter which is sent to all members of the Chapter that provides information regarding motorcycle rights issues and events.
