The next time you see an adult talking or wearing a hat during the playing of the National Anthem...
kick their ass.
When you witness firsthand someone burning the American Flag in protest kick their ass.
Regardless of the rank they held while they served, pay the highest amount of respect to all veterans. If you see anyone doing otherwise quietly pull them aside and explain how these Veterans fought
for the very freedom they bask in every second. Enlighten them… Continue

Letter to Marines from a Quaker
Subject: Letter to Marines from a Quaker
I worked nights as a waitress, paying my way through college, in Honolulu during the early 80s. Between work and school, I didn't have much time to meet other people, and my family was thousands of miles away. Several Marines frequented the bar, and one GySgt. of a Marine sniper platoon, Larry Hatfield,… Continue

"Wulfric" - Anglo/Saxon for "wolf power" or "wolf ruler".. also the name of a 12BC British Hermit Saint known for his miracles and prophecies....
He called to me from afar.. I had to seek him out.. he commanded me to obey.. and I was powerless to resist.. I had to find him.. my soul would not rest.. my faith carried me on.
Then, face to face.... behold his beauty. I quiver with anticipation, I long to run my hands over the sleek lines of his build.. I can not… Continue

I can't seem to find any air brushers (brushers???) so I'm figurein' on doing the work myself. I've painted the bike before but it's a pain in the 6 and costly. Anyone know if I use just plain old metal primer and plain old "Rustolium" pain will it lasting a few years until I can do it right? They still have to put the bike together and I want to ride this year. I know the body shop paints have activators and such but I want quick and easy but want to get a few years out of it too. I'm NOT… Continue

EVERYBODY IS OUTRAGED ABOUT THE PRESIDENT'S PLAN TO CHARGE A VETERAN'S PRIVATE INSURANCE TO PAY FOR VA BENEFITS, SORRY FOLKS BUT IT IS A LITTLE LATE FOR THAT. THE GOVERNMENT [READ VA] HAS BEEN CHARGING VETERANS PRIVATE INSURANCE FOR CARE SINCE THE 80'S. WHEN ANYBODY ENTERED THE MILITARY BEFORE 1980 THEY ENTERED INTO A CONTRACT WHICH SAID IF YOU SERVED 4 YEARS ACTIVE DUTY OR 6YEARS COMBINE ACTIVE AND RESERVE YOU WOULD HAVE VA MEDICAL BENEFITS FOR LIFE FOR FREE. YOU WOULD ALSO RECIEVE FOUR YEARS… Continue

If anybody is riding on St PAtty's Day in the Peoria area, send me a message. I have taken the day off to enjoy what has all of the makings of a kick ass day. A few of us are getting together for breakfast, followed by the parade in downtown Peoria and then riding around to stimulate the economy!

OK, I just have a few questions I am curious about. Maybe you could answer them for me. Sort of a way to get to know where we are coming from.
1. A Brother drops by out of the blue, and asks ya to go on a 600 mile round trip ride to Idaho with him. When you ask "Whats in Idaho?"; he says "That's what I want to find out." What do you do?
2. Its Sunday afternoon and you are at the 1st stop of a barhopping ride out in the… Continue

Back in the "Old Days" (25 or 30 yrs ago) I could care less if it snowed, or was cold out. Just add a few more layers until I couldnt feel the cold anymore. Of course that also came from not having a car or truck at the time, just the bike, but I didnt care. If a friend asked me to make a "Road Trip" I was on the bike and ready to go.
Some of them I can still remember, some I wish I could forget, and some I hope I never do. Like the time I… Continue

March 2, 1836 - March 2, 2009
Happy Texas Independence day everybody! Most people don't even know that Texas has an Independence day or that it was once it's own country (The Republic Of Texas). Not many Texans know this holiday even exists.
On March 2, 1836 we declared our Independence from Mexico . While the declaration was being signed the battle at the Alamo had already begun and a small number of Texans were completely surrounded by Mexican… Continue
