For my Amelia...

Please help me in supporting the March of Dimes this year. There is only about a week left. I am walking this year in honor of my daughter, Amelia who was born too early at 1lb 7oz, my baby is a fighter and one of the lucky ones because she survived. She did have a rough 4 months in the NICU but she is doing great now. Unfortunately, not all of babies like her have the same outcome, that is why I am supporting the March of Dimes and why you should do the same. Any and all donations are very… Continue

a 455 mile ride

It all started as a quick run to pick-up some Everclear 190 proof so I can make some Apple Pie to drink at a campout/clambake in early May. A few days before I emailed Scott asking him if he wanted to go, and of course he said "sure". So to make it a decent ride, we decided to meet on the Oregon side of the Columbia and ride down to Keizer, Oregon (just outside Salem) to a biker bar called the Crossroads. I had been invited there to a couple of meet… Continue

OBAMA MEETS LITTLE JOHNNY

Little Johnny meets Barack Obama

Barack Obama was visiting a primary school and he visited

one of the classes. They were in the middle of a

discussion related to words and their meanings. The

teacher asked the president if he would like to lead the

discussion on the word 'tragedy.' So our

illustrious president asked the class for an example of a

'tragedy.'

One little boy stood up and offered: 'If my best

friend, who lives on a farm, is playing in the… Continue

Just Kill Me - A Tribute Tattoo

About a month ago I got a friend request on Myspace from “Just Kill Me”. I was thinking it would end up being another rock band that was out spreading their music around Myspace. Well to my surprise it was a fellow biker named Harley Mike from Colorado. After adding Mike to my friends list I checked out his page and found one of the most amazing… Continue

Road Trip

Leaving for Tennessee, the Nashville area in the morning. Excited about meeting up with a best friend from high school. Anyone have any suggestions of some 'must see' places? Never been to TN so it's all new to me. Will definately check out the Wild Horse and of course, Coyote Ugly.

The Biker

THE BIKER

I saw you, hug your purse closer to you in the grocery store line.

But, you didn't see me, put an extra $100.00 in the collection plate last Sunday.

I saw you, pull your child closer when we passed each other on the sidewalk.

But, you didn't see me, playing Santa at the local mall.

I saw you, change your mind about going into the restaurant.

But, you didn't see me, attending a meeting to raise more money for the hurricane… Continue
