"As I approach this weekend, Memorial Day we call it, I’m drawn back to my roots years ago in the tiny town of Lock Seventeen, Ohio. I actually did my own census one time, being a weird kid, and we had seventy-five residents in Lock. There were… Continue

Only 1 month away. We would love to see all of our friends join the ride and raise money for our annual recipients of the Brian Alexander Scholarship at St. Francis College of Nursing. 3 scholarships have been awarded over the years since its establishment. All have said how important it was to help with giving them the ability to finish nursing school. Only individuals with finacial hardship are eligible for the award. Forget about that European summer vacation.
I found a Somali cruise package that departs from Sawakin (in the
Sudan) and docks at Bagamoya (in Tanzania). The cost is a bit high
US $800 per person double occupancy but I didn't find that
What I found enticing is that the cruise company is encouraging
to bring their 'High powered weapons' along on the cruise.
If you don't have weapons, you can rent them right there on… Continue

I aint spending another dime at NW Harley Davidson in Lacey!!
The only times I have ever NOT
had a problem buying something from them was when I bought a T shirt from them, and a pin for my granddaughter.
When I bought my Sporty back in September of '05, they tried to charge me the same price as an '06. Even after I called the dealership in Tacoma and found an identical bike for $1,000 less, the salesman didnt budge on the price, so I told the guy in Tacoma… Continue

How do you get away with stealing a new motorcycle? Disassemble it. Put the parts in three crates and store them in the basement of someone else’s house, never to be seen again. That’s what the Northern Illinois Auto Theft Task Force said Darcy L. Corbin, 55, of Loves Park, did 27 years ago with a then-new 1980 Harley-Davidson.
Illinois - “I have no idea why someone would keep a stolen motorcycle in storage for that long,” NIATTF Inspector James Kerns said Wednesday. “Obviously, you… Continue

There was a little boy visiting his grandparents on their farm. He was given a slingshot to play with out in the woods. He practiced in the woods; but he could never hit the target. Getting a little discouraged, he headed back for dinner.
As he was walking back he saw Grandma's pet duck. Just out of impulse, he let the slingshot fly, hit the duck square in the head and killed it. He was shocked and grieved! In a panic, he hid the dead duck in the wood pile; only to see his sister… Continue
